Dark Orbit Flow

Dark orbit is a 5 minutes arcade game built for the German company BigPoint to advertise for their 2d browser based game.

As a project Manager, my mission was to:

-lead the dev team to deliver the project within the expected time frame and quality.

- Work on different aspects of the game: AI, game play..

-Develop a local nodejs service that communicates the game and a mobile app.

-Develop the mobile app companion

Bagra The Game

Bagra The Game is a realtime multiplayer mobile game.

Get in your UFO and start stealing other players cows.

-Extend photon server load balancing project to implement the multiplayer side of the project.

Veloh Challenge

Veloh Challenge is a 2d infinite runner game. The player has to avoid  different obstacles and collect as many juice bottles as possible.

The game has offline and online modes. In the latter, the player competes with others based on high scores.

My mission:

-Handle different gameplay aspects : collecting items, custom lightweight collision detection, obstacles and coins generation

-Take care of the communication between the game client and our game server : player registration, sending and receiving data, anti-cheat...

Skeleton attack is a VR experience developed for a french company.  The player has to last for a determined period of time. For that, he has to kill his enemies using a sword  and a crossbow. This experience is made with HTC vive. And yes, that is me on the upper right corner fighting the nasty skeletons!  

Mission:
-Create the gameplay
-Use physics to draw the crossbows's arrow trajectory before its launch.

Oh Walk the line experience

Oh! Walk the line is a VR experience in which the player has to get from one apartment to another, bring a juice box and return back without dropping the box or falling from the thin line he walks on.
​This project was initially supposed to be developed with Unity3d game engine. However, back then, the HTC vive plugin for unity was not optimized enough and just putting two buildings on the scene would create a lag and aliasing. 

Luckily, at the time, UE4 just went free. I suggested it as a substitute to Unity. We put the same buildings and it worked like a charm. I have learnt UE4 and completed the project within the deadline.


Mission:

-Learn UE4 (scripting and Blueprints)

-Pass along what have I learnt to the rest of the team (developers and artists)
-Create the gameplay
